Visionin was founded in 2013 by the graduates of the Computer Vision laboratory at Inha University as a university start-up company. Currently, Visionin consists of 5 Ph.D's and 1 Master in information and communication engineering or statistics, has expertise in various applications of computer vision and pattern recognition such as machine vision, biometrics, and video analytics, and has been conducting a number of R&D projects funded by government and industry. In particular, Visionin has world-class competency in real-time computer vision technology based on parallel processing techniques, not only for desk-top platforms but also for embedded systems. The team concentrates on developing high-performance computer vision algorithms for automatic detection, tracking, and recognition of targets of interest in video streams, with a focus on improving processing speed and reliability of existing algorithms to enhance the performance of the products.
