A Visual Space is where perception meets reality, or what we perceive that reality to be. Our perceptions are coloured by not only our present but our past, our beliefs, ideals, personality, cultural norms and the society in which we live. Hence, we all perceive reality subjectively. I aspire to influence that subjectivity. To bend your perception and influence your subconscious. To make you see what I see, my inner reality.Visual Spaces is not so much a business as it is a pursuit. The pursuit of a budding passion for photography and photo manipulation. I offer both photographic work for sale, individual photo sessions and photo restoration. Barbara is a teacher by day/ photographer by night. She currently resides in Southern Ontario with her partner David Jacob Duke, a Graphic Designer & Illustrator. (you can view his work at davidjacobduke.com). She also shares her space with three Betta fish, a pug named Chester and a cat named Zoe. In her Barbara enjoys reading about psychology and science, people watching, indie films, music and playing guitar and piano (though she hasn't in a while).Visual Spaces provides: Photographic imagery and digital manipulation.
