In late 1950's Souheil Mounir Sinno, aged 32, opened a sports shop in Jeanne D'arc Street at the renowned Hamra district in Beirut (Lebanon). Viva Sports was established in 1957. It quickly became a landmark and an attracting point for sportswear shoppers from all over Lebanon. For years, the store remained strong with its sole location and dominated the field of retail sports articles. Viva Sports soon became one of the big leagues of Lebanon sports retailing. This leading sports equipment and sports apparel retailer operated only one store in Hamra. The future of Viva Sports will look very bright because the principles that the business was founded on over 50 years ago are still alive today. We look forward to the next 50 years.
