The building seats nearly 20,000 and at the time of its construction, it was built faster than any other arena in the world−15 months and 24 days at a cost of $66 million. \\• The footprint is 3.79 acres \• 100,000 cubic yards of concrete \• 80,300 square feet of glass \• 500,000 concrete blocks \• 21,000 square yards of carpet \• 3 million pounds of structural steel \• 7.6 million pounds of rebar \• A tornado hit the building on August 11, 1999, blowing out more than 700 windows
