As cancer treatments advance, more and more cancer patients find themselves emerging from treatment into a nebulous world. It doesn't feel like survival, past-tense, where the experience is behind them because aspects of the journey are always before them and around them. Some call it survivorship, indicating the journey continues. Vivory is a place to share stories both of Victory and survivorship. It is a place to share learning, and to share heartache. It is a place for real stories and not hype. It is a place to be raw and real. Like the ivory that forms part fo the name, these stories and journeys are precious, and sometimes endangered. They must be shared, cultivated and protected. That is why we are here.
