Vivre Au Qatar VAQ Details
The French speaking community in Qatar has its own website www.vivreauqatar.com, targeting existing and potential expatriates in Qatar and also French-speaking visitors. Literally meaning "Live in Qatar" in English, VAQ website is managed by two volunteers, Amel Saadi-Cherif and Béatrice Truyffaut. Its aim is to assist and inform the French speaking community on all events and to provide facts about the country through several webpages (Culture, Tourism, Employment, Health, Administrative procedures and Classified). VAQ receives more than 18,000 visits monthly, with more than 2700 likes for the Facebook page (launched in January 2012)
