Vizag Volunteers was founded by Mr. Karnatakapu Satish on 27 March 2020, 2 days after the nationwide lockdown came into force. He took this initiative to help the poor and the needy affected by the nationwide lockdown. The Organization started as a WhatsApp group of his corporate circle friends and NGO's and later many organisations that worked in Vizag for a similar cause joined hands with us and started serving under the banner of Vizag Volunteers. Mr. Chandan Achary, who is the co-founder, took the responsibility of managing the organisation's projects.Mr Satish shared the concept of helping people to his friends, they joined with him owing to his dedication, honesty and history in serving social causes. Many organisations joined hands with us, which in turn increased the credibility of Vizag Volunteers in the city.
