Voice of Care's mission is to equip the Church to nurture people with disabilities and their caregivers in their walk with Christ.As a Recognized Service Organization of the Lutheran Church Missouri Synod, Voice of Care serves 20 different special needs facilities with regular chaplaincy, provided via ordained pastors and commissioned deaconesses. Voice of Care partners with Walcamp Outdoor Ministries in Kingston, Illinois, to provide year round quality special needs programming for people of all ages.Churches and schools are provided with training, workshops, and materials to help facilitate special needs ministry in the congregation and community. Families and individuals can be connected with resources and services to meet the requirements of their particular circumstance.Support for Voice of Care comes primarily through individual, congregational, and small business donors. There are opportunities to volunteer, participate in fund raising events, and give financially.
