We create a platform for individuals who are incarcerated to have their voices heard using Boal's Theatre of the Oppressed techniques. Participants examine the prison system and their own stories in order to create a performance piece that can be shared with peers, legislators, and the wider community. Along with teaching key re-entry skills, our program aims to raise awareness and change the prison system as we know it. We believe that including those most affected by the issue in the reform process is the most effective and humane method of change. Together, we can work towards justice.
