Vonate.org is a non-profit website that utilizes the crowdsourcing and the power of the dollar to raise money for other non-profit organizations. Under the slogan "The $1 Movement," Vonate.org believes that if you can give $1, you can be a philanthropist.Each month, Vonate.org features two non-profit organizations and ask its community of donors to help allocate the granted funds. Site members watch videos on each organization and vonate their $1 (a combination of 'vote' & 'donate') for their favorite. At the end of the month, the vonations are tallied and funds are distributed to each organization accordingly. The Vonation program operates on a 12-month cycle and annual site membership dues are $15.Vonate.org is a product of Project Unum, a 501(c)(3) organization.
