Government Relations - Calgary, Alberta, Canada
VoxVolo is a new concept to build better government by recording, tracking and reporting on election campaign promises on the web. Recording campaign promises with VoxVolo encourages them to be specific and measurable. Tracking them ensures they don't get forgotten. Clear reporting on a wide variety of platforms makes progress easy to understand and provides a strong incentive to deliver. VoxVolo means better promises, better kept. VoxVolo also provides a forum for civil, respectful dialogue amongst citizens and between citizens and their elected representatives. VoxVolo is strictly non-partisan, and all participants must clearly and unambiguously identify themselves so they are fully accountable for what they say. In February, 2014, the Pew Research Center reported that US public trust in government had sunk to a near all-time low of 24%. In 2015, Edelman's Trust Barometer reported the number of countries around the world which trust their government is also at an all-time low. In a very simple, compelling way, VoxVolo contributes directly to restoring trust in our government by holding elected representatives to account in a systematic, objective and non-partisan way. It makes government better. Better government contributes — in the most direct sense — to making this a better world in which to live. The VoxVolo team is highly experienced in successfully bringing major projects to market. They have an abiding passion for the project coupled with robust technical expertise and business experience that ensures success. We are currently raising the funds necessary to build the initial feature set and operate at scale. Our funding model calls for use to be free to citizens, candidates and elected representatives. We have a robust revenue model to ensure VoxVolo's long term sustainability and a provisional patent filed to protect our core technology.
