VRforHealth, from co-founders Denise SIlber and Beth Savoldelli, is a unique one stop online resource for validated information pertaining to Therapeutic Virtual Reality. The site includes a news video and lecture library and articles. Our goals are : to explain VR therapy through curated videos of each medical condition and to bring professionals, patients, and clinical and technological partners together. We are two women on a mission, Denise, a digital health pioneer and patient engagement advocate in Paris, France, and Beth, a business development professional, cancer survivor and patient advocate in Dallas, Texas.Believing in the power of therapeutic VR, we each traveled to the 2019 Cedar Sinai Virtual Medicine conference. Denise moderated the patient testimonials and made a call to action for VR awareness and action. Beth Savoldelli, seeking to use her professional skills to leverage the ecosystem for patients, reached out to Denise. A team was formed. The website was launched late July 2020, with great feedback.
