VRIAN projects B.V. is a project management company which is specialised in the agriculture and food sector with specific focus on the implementation of European Unions Common Agricultural Policy, Quality management related to the New Food Law and EU approximation of related enforcement systems. VRIAN also advises private companies and NGO's dealing with the above mentioned subjects. In general VRIAN aims at the improvement of effectiveness of organisations in profit and not for profit sector. The source of experience and capacity of VRIAN derives from as well the public administration as the private sector. Experts working for and associated with VRIAN have assisted the Dutch Ministry of Agriculture (now Economy, Agriculture & Innovation) in the restructuring of different policies related to the agricultural and food production sector on issues such as restructuring of the food safety policy in relation to commercial behaviour of operators, Good Agricultural Practice, organic food production, animal health programs, animal welfare etc. Furthermore in the knowledge and experience is also available for public and private bodies in non-EU related countries which aim to strengthen their position on the EU market and aim to improve their co-operation with individual member states or the European Commission in Brussels.
