The Virginia Society of Professional Engineers (VSPE) was established in 1949 on the state level as a subset under the parent organization of NSPE. Together we work towards a common goal of creating an inclusive and nontechnical organization dedicated to the interests of licensed professional engineers. Regardless of the practice area, we aim to protect engineers (and the public) from unqualified practitioners while building public recognition for the profession, standing against unethical practices, and advocating for fair compensation.
