What makes VStream different than other video platforms is two fold:1. Being built from the ground up for VTubers2. Incorporating social features into the platform itselfFrom the very beginning, VStream was built to be a platform for VTubers. VTubing has blown up since early 2020 but up until VSteam there wasn't a real platform dedicated to them. VTubers are different than other content creators. Both in VTuber culture and VTuber's needs as content creators. Live translators, karaoke streams, Live2D, the VTuber rabbit hole of clips are all examples of unique features of the VTuber community that don't exist elsewhere. Instead of these being cultural artifacts that work around the platforms they're hosted on, we want to elevate them to be first party features of the platform itself!The next thing that's special about VStream is its focus on including social features in the platform itself. Today, if you're watching a stream on another platform, you'll be having a good time with the streamer and the chat. Making jokes, creating memes, and overall having a fun time together. But then after the stream ends, where do people go to continue the conversation? It's not those platforms. It's places like Discord, Reddit, and Twitter. But with VStream, we want the conversation to be able to continue on the platform itself! We think this will be more engaging for communities and allow content creators to be more involved in the communities they create.
