The VTAC is more than a tachometer, it is a mini computer - recording 2 high and 2 low RPM per lap, along with the High RPM per race. Especially favoured by high tech and young teams ( like Tony Stewart Racing Chili Bowl team) for the depth of information the VTAC provides. Race teams can shave seconds off their lap times by analyzing their RPM throughout the race...and the VTAC records up to 100 laps, so a race team can really see what the car, driver, and engine are doing over time. Sold throughout North America, Australia and New Zealand through a dealer network. (Company was originally developed as VMAC Racing by Tony Menard, late owner of VMAC, and the VTAC - the flagship product of VMAC Racing - first shipped in 2005.
