Initially founded in 1967.Vuyo's Funeral Services, is a Soweto based funeral service and policy provider built on a foundation of caring and a rich heritage. Since then the business has evolved into more than a funeral business. It was the first funeral services business to conduct a burial in Avalon Cemetery, one of the country's largest cemeteries, when it opened in 1972. It also had the sad task of organising and conducting the funeral of the first youth activist killed in the Soweto Uprising of 1976, Hector Pieterson. Since then the business has evolved into more than a funeral business.Re-established in 2007 by Vuyo and Nkateko Mabindisa, we have evolved to provide an essential range of affordable funeral and related financial services so that we are able to cater for the broader needs of the communities we serve.We have the necessary equipment's and staff to allow us to fulfill our obligation to our members. We have quality facilities and render a range of tailored packages.Our challenge is to meet and exceed the expectations of all the families we serve, from those seeking low cost alternatives to those that prefer more premium options.Financial services sits at the heart of our business, so is excellent and professional service, offered from our five offices throughout Soweto and southern Johannesburg.We are entrenched in our community, and that we are their first port of call in their time of need.
