An underground literary and art zine made by the LGBTQ Vietnamese community for the LGBTQ Vietnamese community.Vănguard is an underground zine founded in 2014 by two friends, Aiden and Nu, during their visit to Việt Nam. Our mission is to empower and endorse the visibility and individuality of self identified lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender/trans* & queer (LGBTQ) Vietnamese artists and writers. We hope to establish a safe platform where LGBTQ individuals can freely express themselves and have their voices heard. Lastly, we aim to foster solidarity and unite the LGBTQ community through art, literature and activism. Năm 2014 đánh dấu sự ra đời của Vănguard, tập zine được sáng lập bởi 2 người bạn Aiden và Nu tại Saigon, dành cho cộng đồng LGBTQ. Vănguard mong muốn là nơi mỗi cá nhân nghệ sỹ, nhà văn LGBTQ cảm thấy an toàn, tự do thể hiện sự sáng tạo và có tiếng nói riêng của mình. Từ đó tạo nên sự gắn kết cho cộng đồng nghệ sỹ LGBTQ thông qua các hoạt động văn học nghệ thuật và xã hội.
