WCBG features the stand out voices of Wagner College. As the college where the movie School of Rock was filmed we pride ourselves on reaching out to artists who will be the future of our generation. The emerging artists of today will be the voice of tomorrow. Through our interviews with these amazingly talented artists we have the opportunity to share our love of music, the genre, and the industry with our listeners.The most important thing for us when we reach out to an artist is that we feel something from their music. Their music speaks to us or makes us feel some type of emotion. This is apparent in different forms whether it be lyrics, composition or production.WCBG is more than a radio station, we are a completely run student organization that gets to share our love of music with our campus and the world. Radio is only one outlet for us to talk about topics important to us. There is so much more we can do to impact our generation!
