Waguespack is among the 21st Century artists who are strongly influenced by social media and the demands of young collectors to create art they can relate to.The home goods line Salvador's Garden was founded by John Finch and John Waguespack in June 2014. After successfully funding a Kickstarter crowdfunding campaign, the team raised $26,000 to develop their First collection and delivered orders to over 200 new customers within 30 days. The inspiration for the images comes from the creative mind of John Waguespack, a San Francisco Artist. Waguespack was inspired by a series of Dali paintings he used to create the garden experience on this amazing fabric - made of 100% recycled plastic bottles. Everything in this garden, the birds, flowers, animals, are transformations of the original portrait. The beautiful snow white fabrics reminded Waguespack of that original painting and thought it would be the perfect medium on which to share this series. By removing these plastic bottles from our landfills we are helping to keep our planet from turning into a waste dump. This process takes what would be trash and upcycles it into something useful and beautiful.
