Waic Up is a youth-led organization consisting of two parts: ‘Waic Up Impact' and ‘Waic Up News'. Our strategy is ‘NEWS… to IMPACT'. Uniting information seekers and everyday readers of the news to learn the truth about our world and feel empowered enough to take meaningful action. 'Waic Up Impact' is an expansion of the previous OneMillionOfUs organization that achieved the goal of encouraging 1 million young people to register to vote. Our journalism stance is unique: all ages, all media and no censorship. We want everyone to feel they can have their voices heard on this platform through open submission on our website. We will be publishing standardized news articles as well as relevant art, video and audio to create a dynamic, accessible and representative experience.
