Waipoua Lodge is a Qualmark 5 star Guest & Hosted Lodge nestled on a ridge overlooking the vast Waipoua Forest. Here you will find the ancient kauri trees Tane Mahuta (2,000 years) and Te Matua Ngahere (3,000 years old) plus many other wonderful attractions of the often undiscovered natural beauty of the Kauri Coast. Ian and I are the owners and hosts of this wonderful old kauri homestead built in the height of the pioneer period, where the four luxury guest suites are located in the historic outbuildings. The lodge is the perfect destination for FIT travellers, special occasions, honeymooners and families.
