The Wall Street community is joining together to take a stand - or spin - for autism. Wall Street Rides FAR is an annual cycling event in the Lower Hudson Valley to benefit the Autism Science Foundation. On Saturday, October 3, 2020, hundreds of riders—a mix of avid cyclists and weekend recreational riders—will ride in Saxon Woods County Park on a fully-supported journey of the scenic roads just north of NYC. With a choice of five distances and challenge levels, from a 4-mile family ride to a 62-mile ride, you'll be fully supported by our volunteer crew along the way. With rest stops, or "Oases," every 15 miles, ample route marking, safety monitors at tricky intersections, bike techs, and sweep vans if you need them, our crew will make the scenic experience even more enjoyable. Why do we work so hard to make this a great experience? Because you are supporting an incredibly important charity, the Autism Science Foundation (ASF). ASF provides important funding and other assistance to scientists and organizations conducting, facilitating, publicizing and disseminating relevant, cutting-edge autism research. They also provide information about autism to the general public and serve to increase awareness of autism spectrum disorders and the needs of individuals and families affected by autism.
