Wanderbook provides a service presented through a next generation wireless device, enabling the walking professional with the same information access capabilities they would have in a fully connected desktop office environment. The technology barriers it overcame was it's "humane interface" called PAGES (aka paper and gesture) interface. Tablet computing and its derivatives (e-books, smartphones, phablets...) are well known today, but in 2001 Wanderbook was an innovator. Today Wanderbook's mission is to continue to promote and target unmet needs in the mobile marketplace with awareness of past innovations and prior art, some has since been re-discovered, some still yet to be. new kind of human interface more appropriate for mobile use and this technology.The significant unmet need is information retrieval *and* access while face-to-face, with heads-up, without social inhibiting barriers between you and the world around you...(and also prevents double chins and neck aches).
