WANned was sold to Stephouse Networks, LLC in 2011. Stephouse continued to operate under the WANned name until rebranding all customers under the Stephouse logo. The following is historical details about the original company. We are a wireless Internet service provider (WISP). We provide Internet to unserved and underserved areas using a wireless technology. We do it because we find fulfillment in meeting a need in our local community. WANned began providing high speed wireless Internet service to residents and businesses in Woodland, Washington and the rural areas of Cowlitz and Clark Counties in November of 2004. Since then it has rapidly grown from the original half dozen subscribers on a single T1 connection via one location to hundreds of residential and business customers enjoying true broadband service from a fiber optic trunk and from more than 20 locations throughout the downtown Woodland area and throughout the Lewis River valley. WANned has continually upgraded both it's internal network as well as it's upstream connection and it's subscriber equipment throughout the years in order to be able to provide our customers with the most reliable service, the fastest speeds, and the lowest rates. Our customers include both residential and business users. Many have switched to WANned from other Internet providers including wireless, carrier grade, dial-up, and digital cable. The most often cited reason for switching is quality of service, followed with a close second on value. WANned offers higher upload speeds than any Internet Service Provider in Woodland and has monthly rates less than any competitor. A few have tried to duplicate our pricing, but none have succeeded in providing the renowned service.
