Wantboards connects consumers (buyers) to businesses/retailers (sellers) in a demand-based marketplace. Buyers post a "Wantboard," complete with the price, condition, brand and even photos of any product they want. Then, our team finds them sellers that have what they're looking for. The end goal is that the two parties reach an agreement and complete a transaction. Simply put, everyone wants something and knows what they are willing to pay, but businesses hold all the pricing power. They set prices for their products, and shoppers decide whether or not they want to pay that price. We want to help consumers skip the annoying process of visiting multiple stores or waiting for coupons/sales to get the best deal by letting them post on our platform so we can find them a better deal. We want to facilitate the shift from endless product searching to demand-based buying. Many retailers/businesses have adopted consumeristic trends such as "name your price" and "price matching" to accommodate savvy shoppers. However, we want to get people even more involved in the transaction by fostering a completely demand-driven environment. Anyone who likes to hunt for better deals can use Wantboards to save time and money. Sellers will be provided with an ongoing outlet for finding new customers and increase their inventory turn, allowing them to compete with big-name retailers. Our existing buyers and sellers already believe that and we're just making incremental steps to spread the word to the mass market.
