In January 2021, Washington Green Schools formally changed its name to EarthGen. As we mark our tenth anniversary as a nonprofit organization, our new name represents an important leap forward on our journey to guide and support students and K-12 schools across Washington. EarthGen equips young people to become changemakers for a healthy environment. The next generation will inherit two interconnected crises they did not cause: climate change and social injustice. But young people are motivated to take action and create solutions, and they need support. That's where EarthGen comes in.EarthGen's science-based, action-oriented education programs give young people knowledge, skills, and opportunities to become leaders for a better future. At EarthGen, we aim to bring generations together in our collective efforts to create a just and sustainable world.
