Legal/Attorney - Seattle, WA, US
Washington Innocence Project (formerly Innocence Project Northwest) was founded as a volunteer organization in 1997 and became a clinical program at the University of Washington School of Law in 2002. Since 2019, Washington Innocence Project (WashIP) operates as an independent not for profit organization working to free innocent prisoners in Washington State, prevent future wrongful convictions through education and policy reform, and support our exonerated and freed clients as they rebuild their lives in freedom. To date, WashIP has helped free 14 men and women who collectively served over 100 years in prison for crimes they did not commit.
