WASHKing is a Ghanaian social sanitation enterprise providing low-income and underserved communities with access to sanitation products at an affordable price. WASHKing makes, supplies and installs accessible, ecofriendly and smart high-quality biodigester toilets using locally available materials and artisans. WASHKing sells these toilets through trained face-to-face distribution network allowing to assess potential clients' needs to provide them with suitable facilities at right prices. We reach out to low-income communities by working with partners like community NGOs, local municipal assembly and environmental health workers. WASHKing with its focus on urban low-income earners has a design that is adapted to the needs of its customer segment, offers flexible payment terms including own pay-as-you-go technology, provides end-user training on hygiene, and also provides after-sales services.
