WASTE AGRO LTD.Waste-Agro Limited is a local private industry worked on waste management especially in agricultural sector through promoting non-traditional resource utilization maintaining friendly Eco-system to the climate, local entrepreneurship development, alternative energy searching, relevant technology installation and engaged to intervene other initiatives ensuring highest utilization of non-familiar raw materials, agro-wastage etc with the strategy of low-cost and local technologies considering market analyzing, effective production and employment creation. Under the leadership and guidance of its proprietor Md. Mahmuduzzaman, Managing Director; the journey took place in 2010 through ‘Bio-Bd Technology' Dinajpur. At that time it was engaged to promote bio-technologies like fiber glass bio-gas plant production, bio-gas plant installation and marketing. In 2011 and 2012 it extended the services through including the production of ‘Banana Stump Extraction machines. This machine usually made for fiber production from banana stumps. This non-familiar local technology has been getting popularity in 2013 when Bio-bd Technology started marketing at various parts of district of Dinajpur in 2013. The Bio-bd Technology started the production of Pineapple fiber by developing some successful client at Madhupur, Tangail in 2014. Hence Bio-bd Technology transformed into ‘Waste Agro Limited' in 2016. This year it successfully provided some technological services like sales and supplies of Banana Stump Extraction Machines to Bangladesh Women Chamberof Commerce and Industries (BWCCI) and Bureau Bangladesh. They are implementing relevant projects of Bangladesh Inspire under Ministry of Industries with technical and financial assistance of European Union. The project has been distributed 16-machines at beneficiary level supplied by Waste Agro Limited. Apart from this, Waste Agro Limited is now engaged to provide supports to establish Mini Paper Mill, Fiber Spinning Mill etc from local and non-familiar resources.The Managing Director of Waste Agro Limited is also providing different need-based supports to the poor community at different remote villages and slum areas around Dinajpur district through a local non-government organization named ‘Polli Sheba Parishad-PSP and performing responsibilities as Executive Director.
