James Porter joined in 1988 and took over from William Wastell, the founder, in 1999. Mark Scott, from Australia, joined the Practice in 2002. They make a great team and complement each other with their varied skill base.Centrally located in the market town of Hitchin in Hertfordshire, Wastell & Porter works in the surrounding towns and villages of Hertfordshire, as well as the Home Counties and North London. From the initial creative ideas, our aim is to steer a path through the intrinsic difficulties of the planning and construction process and provide inspiration to every project.
