WaveLi is a social media app designed to help connect people together by providing the best events happening in their area. Our platform is optimized to create a network of people and organizations sharing events with each other for whatever their interests may be!The interface contains tailored events that are both public hostings for anyone to join and private hostings that are invite only. Some examples of private hostings include private college club events, parties for friend groups, and other activities that are invite-only. Some examples of public hostings include club activities on college campuses, greek life events, nightlife activities, local concerts, and small pick-up basketball games. Once a user is interested in one of these events, they will be matched with a user or a group of other users who are also attending that event, thereby connecting those people together where they already have a place and time to meet each other. The goal of these events is to help individuals meet other people in new areas easily while also creating an easy process for established groups to connect with each other.
