WaveMade is a newborn production company and storytelling collaborative based in Τrikala, Greece. WaveMade is formed by a group of emerging producers who have already gained attention and distinctions in Greece and abroad.The main goal of the company is to act as a hub for its group members and facilitate their passion for creation in modern audiovisual productions. That involves commercial and non-commercial projects, promoting creative expression, while dealing with regional social issues. At the same time, we are in the look for new diverse voices and getting involved in the formation and support of new artistic proposals.Since 2010 our company members have participated as freelance producers and co-producers in several fiction and documentary films. Our work includes numerous cultural campaigns and collaborations with the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, WWF, the United Nations High Commission for Refugees and the Hellenic Ornithological Society among others. WaveMade short films have participated in numerous international festivals such as Thessaloniki IFF, Lund IFF, Drama IFF, Chalkida Documentary IFF and Sarajevo IFF. Wavemade's co-founder and also producer of THE HOLY KID, Aris Kotronis Vettas work includes the awarded for Best Script, Production Design and Special Award winner at Drama IFF, VOUTA (2020) by Dimitris Zahos, as well as the previous Best SouthEast Short Film winner, THE DAM (2017) by Yorgos Teltzidis. Among others, he is the producer of the Silver Meliés nominated short film STILL LIFE (2018) by Iordanis Theodosiadis.
