In Wavepiston we have developed a very promising technology to harvest the energy from waves, both for electricity production and desalination of sea water (producing freshwater). Wave energy has a huge potential, is a stable resource and is very predictable compared to wind energy.The technology is protected by a broad, conceptual patent. It has been tested and verified in a wave tank, a small scale pilot in the sea and latest in a consortium with Vryhof Anchors, Fiellberg and the Technical University of Denmark we have tested our prototype in the North Sea.We are now preparing the first full-scale system to be installed in Gran Canaria in 2020 - 2022.We make wave energy competitive!
