Owned and operated two professional hockey teams within the Central Hockey League. Both teams were acquired as financially distressed franchises, and had to be normalized with strict timetables in play. I was a key player in moving the New Mexico franchise to a new facility in Rio Rancho, New Mexico, and sold the team to a group of new investors that are active in the market. We recovered the Corpus Christi franchise in the middle of the 2002-2003 season, and after stabilizing the business moved it to the new American Bank Center in Corpus Christi, Texas within 18 months. Respected member of the Central Hockey League Board of Governors and served as an active participant of the 4-member Franchise Advisory Board at the request of the league.
