We Are Women (WAW!) is a national digital-first initiative empowering Black, Indigenous, Women of Color and LGBTQ2S+ food and beverage entrepreneurs in Canada through one-on-one mentorships, grant opportunities, a business interview series, a national sampling box and other transformative programming. We Are Women (WAW!) will launched on International Women's Day, March 8th 2021. We are proudly partnered with Black North, the Canadian Women's Chamber of Commerce and the National Aboriginal Capital Corporations Association.WAW is the next chapter of Women Supporting Women In Food, an interview series that launched in April 2021 and quickly grew to include mentorship and grant opportunities for young, early-stage women in the food and beverage industry in Canada.
