You guessed it – they don't go to school!\\Here are some of the facts:\\- 25% of girls in India drop out of school upon reaching puberty;\- 40% of those who drop out cite lack of toilets as the primary reason for doing so; \- A further 23% of girls miss school every month when they have their period; &\- Many girls do not drink water at school so that they don't need to use the toilet\\We Can't Wait is a not for profit foundation established in 2013 with the specific objective of creating awareness about this major issue. We Can't Wait is focused on raising funds to assist schools in the developing world to build, add or repair toilets and provide sanitation education to children. By providing sanitation education in schools, and providing safe access to toilets, especially girls, We Can't Wait are helping to drive real social change.
