Woman Empowered Certification, S.L. (W.E.®) is a limited company founded in 2015, which provides consulting services with regard to gender equality, aligned with the Women's Empowerment Principles (WEPs) designed by UN Women. The WEPs provide a set of considerations to help the private sector focus on key elements integral to promoting gender equality in the workplace, marketplace and community. W.E. help identify companies that engage with the Principles through an external audit and an objective evaluation of each each company in terms of gender equality and women's empowerment.Based on this Certification, consumers, competitors, workers, suppliers, investors, the public sector, and society in general can easily identify these change-makers, the companies that are firmly committed to women's empowerment and gender equality.
