Table is a not for profit enterprise established for the sole purpose of sharing food. And like any dining experience, the team at Table love to share the food produced by their very own organic soup kitchen. Table provides and shares meals with everyone from refugees to the homeless, domestic violence survivors, people with mental health concerns and just about anyone in the community in need. They don't look at who is sitting in the seat, rather the power of what happens when people come together at the table.Table's mission is to use food to connect, to demonstrate worth and to show love. They consider the full cycle of food; how it is grown, prepared and shared.Social enterprise Two Good sprouted from Table. Two Good was Founded by Rob Caslick and Cathal Flaherty who set a challenge of scaling the more than food mantra without requiring to constantly raise funds. Table Extensions:TABLE Cooking School, to use food to empower domestic violence survivors, homeless kids or young mums in crisis accommodation. The people in our programs learn some basic cooking skills. However, more than this, they learn that cooking for others is empowering. They find that sharing of the meal post lesson is a great way to connect and show love.TABLE Grow Horticultural Therapy program demonstrates how growing food is a way to engage and work with people who have mental health concerns. Mental health is incredibly socially isolating, the Grow program uses nature lessons to connect and provide a safe place for people with mental health to engage in a community activity.TABLE Dinner is a simple distraction for domestic violence survivors living in safe houses. The dinner provides love and support from the community by selling 30 tickets to the general public and donating 30 tickets to women from the safe houses.
