Weaver's Tale builds community among seniors through organic gardening. Active in the Portland Metro region, we provide accessible, raised garden beds in neighborhood locations. Working with non-profit organizations such as houses of worship, residential communities and other sites, we design and install community gardens for neighboring seniors. \\In addition to growing healthy, organic vegetables, neighbors meet each other while tending their garden plots or while participating in on-site workshops and classes on topics ranging from organic gardening, to preserving foods, to cooking and nutrition. Our member gardens also host events, such as potlucks, to further strengthen community bonds. \\Sustainable gardening. Healthy, organic foods. Engaging seniors in our communities.
