Web mentor program is an initiative by TheLeanProgrammer (Madhav Bahl) to help and mentor beginners in web designing/development. Madhav who has contributed a lot to the development of developers' community by forming an open coding community "CodeToExpress", started a lot of free initiatives to help beginners in tech, is currently working as a Software Development Intern at Microsoft, India is the vision behind this program. He wishes to empower the youth by making them technically sound and it's this vision that motivated him to start this mentorship free of cost for the youth. Web Mentor Program is a (5 week long) training program for people who want to enhance and develop their skills and expertise in the domain of web development. It is a free of cost initiative done with the sole purpose of instilling good development skills in individuals.It is a 5 (+1) week no cost program to teach web development from the scratch. Seeing a huge responose on the first announcement of the Web Mentor Program, Madhav decided to break this program into two sections, first will be a community of mentors and mentees, second will be a group of 5-10 people who will get personal mentorship from Madhav.1. The "Web Mentor Program" which will function as a web development community comprising of mentors imparting knowledge to enthusiastic mentees. 2. The "Web Mentor – Inner Circle" Program which is basically a group of enthusiastic individuals who want to acquire knowledge on web development. They will get 1-1 mentorship from Madhav weekly via webinars.Certificate Of Participation will be provided to people completing atleast 1 out of the five tasks, and Certificate of Appreciation will be provided to those who complete atleast 4 tasks.
