WebBIM has been established to take advantage of the growth in Building Information Modelling and to provide solutions for the gathering, storing and displaying building asset information.WebBIM's gains strength it this area from its background in Building Services Engineering and Design, and Web Development.What is WebBIM-OMMThe WebBIM-OMM is a Web based application with provides an electronic Operation and Maintenance Manual with Asset information available either via a URL link form the 3D Model or searchable directly from the application.The application provides a Web portal for the uploading and displaying of Organisation, Discipline, Systems and Asset information that you would expect to be provided within paper base Operation and Maintenance Manuals.This information can be retrieved by either of the following two methods. Direct URL link embedding into the Building Model – offering a click and display function which allows individual Asset, information to be displayed directly from the building model.Web based interface - enabling direct access to all Organisation, Discipline, Systems and Asset information, to Building Services Mangers and Operational personnel.In addition to the above WebBIM offers a central store for all building information including Work as Executed plans, System information, Warranties, Certification, and information on the contractor responsible for each installation.
