"WebComics is a Greek advertising company that has created the site www.webcomics.gr to fulfill a single purpose: the promotion of Greek comic artists and their works of art in the webcomics universe. It is the first Greek webcomics portal whose interest lies in supporting the comic artists with knowledge and technology and in the meantime providing them with free hosting space to promote their work and see their comics read both nationally and internationally by thousands of readers. Its webcomics have a variety of styles and subjects, a proof of the diversity of the Greek comic artists."-from the original website in 2006Since then, a lot has changed. Webcomics became a subsidiary of Helm Publishing Ltd., a comics publishing house that translated world acclaimed titles and concluded its publishing activities with Chronicles of Alos: The Tower. The licensing rights of the Chronicles of Alos have gone to "WebComics – Nikolaos A. Kampouropoulos" company.The concept of this website remains the same, although now we are trying to expand our reach and find artists from all over Europe or the rest of the world who want to publish their webcomics or their comics on the internet.
