Webster Hall is a landmark nightclub, event space, and concert venue, located at 125 E. 11th Street in Manhattan's East Village. Built in 1886, it was re-opened by the Ballinger Brothers in 1992. The building hosts over half a million visitors each year. Webster Hall contains five distinct rooms: the Grand Ballroom (nightclub and major touring acts); the Studio at Webster Hall (performance space and recording studio for major touring acts); The Marlin Room (flexible performance and nightclub space); the VIP lounge; and the Draft House sports bar.In 1950s & 60s Webster Hall was the RCA recording studio where Elvis, Sinatra, Dylan, Ray Charles, and Tony Bennett all recorded; in the 1980s it was known as The Ritz which hosted Tina Turner, Clapton, Beastie Boys, Guns & Roses, U2 and many of the new wave giants of the day; the building was re-opened as Webster Hall two decades ago with such talent as Madonna, Mick Jagger, Bjork, Nine Inch Nails, Prince; and in the last few years alone such talent as Adele, Black Keys, Lady Gaga, Jack White, and Green Day have graced the stages of Webster Hall.For more info please visit: http://www.websterhall.com
