The ability to install the PTW into a variety of track gauges and railtypes allows our system to be used within the Rail Freight, Commuter and High Speed industries. Our PTW can weigh trains either statically or weigh in-motion without altering track foundations, thus providing prominent time and cost savings. Our static train weighing systems are intuitively integrated with our industry leading ptwX software and have an accuracy of +/- 1%, this has proved invaluable throughout the world for train manufacture and train maintenance depots. Our ptwX software can provide instant weight information across the individual wheels, bogies and total rail vehicle. This allows depot managers to make alterations to rolling stock to ensure balanced loads and meet quality control regulations. Our in-motion train systems have been used on international and national infrastructure projects and have a distinctive advantage over fixed installations. Our systems can be taken to the ‘rail' and relocated for convenience (installation time is approximately 15 minutes), this has been of benefit to those that are operating temporary sites and interim projects.
