Welcoming Women Details
Welcoming Women is a women's group to provide a network for women to connect, share, learn and grow together in a supportive environment. We host monthly gatherings for women to meet together and sessions take about 2 hours. One hour is spent with a guest presenter, teaching us about a wellness topic. Some topics that may be explored include crafts, movement activities (e.g. dance or yoga), nutritional health and cooking or alternative therapies. We also take time to wind down with a guided meditation, share affirmations and enjoy chats over cups of herbal tea and treats.Welcoming Women is open to any woman of any age (over 14 years old), and of any sexuality, religion or culture. While Welcoming Women does involve some ritual to the sessions, religion does not form a part of this group.Welcoming Women is a perfect way to learn new things, support your health and wellness, meet new friends or just relax!
