Wellfully's MISSION is to provide health, recovery and development services to all adolescent youth. VISION We focus on being the premiere adolescent care provider in the region.SERVICE We serve youth between the ages of 9 and 18 who have significant mental health, substance abuse, and behavioral challenges. These youth need our support to safely function in their homes, schools, and our community. Through Wellfully's high quality residential and afterschool programs, youth develop effective coping skills, make better life choices, and receive ongoing support for a successful future.History:Wellspring was founded in 1990 by Dr. Steve Manlove, Judge Marshall Young, and Attorney Al Scovel. These three very dedicated and passionate men saw a desperate need to provide services for youth who were falling through the cracks of our various systems. From the founder's desire to help youth and families in Western South Dakota and a $40,000 Juvenile Justice grant, Wellspring has grown into an organization that has four primary programs, over 60 employees and has served over 25,000 youth and family members. Our Impact: While it can be difficult to imagine being in the situation of one of our youth, their stories are profound, and the support they receive from Wellspring fills a desperate need in our community. In 2012, our services improved the lives of over 650 youth, and our outreach increases every year. It is critical that Wellspring is there to support these youth and their families.
