We Rise was conceptualized to achieve Sustainable Development Goal (SDG) 5-Gender Equality by empowering the youth to stand up and lead the movement for Planet 50-50. It is an initiative to create awareness among adolescents about the issues related to gender equality and female health that plague the society. The team conducts interactive workshops, activity based learning sessions and street plays on gender sensitization and menstrual health and hygiene for children in schools, shelter homes and youth centers in Delhi and Mumbai.
