WAPECC is a biannual investor meeting focused on energy, infrastructure and project finance in West Africa.The WAPECC 21 will be taking place virtually (online) owing to reasons emanating from the global COVID 19 Pandemic.Under the high patronage of H.E Minister of the Federal Ministry of Power of Nigeria and with the support of the Economic Community of West African States, Konect Group are proud to present the second edition of the West African Power and Energy Cooperation Conference (WAPECC 21), from 3rd -4th June 2021.The virtual Conference WAPECC Abuja21 will mirror the dynamics of a physical conference from entering the hall, attending the sessions, engaging with speakers, interacting with exhibitors to networking with co-attendees via real-time chat tools.It will focus on promoting regional resources and governments' strategic plans for sustainable energy development. To the ECOWAS countries, WAPECC also means a platform to develop regional cooperation, interconnectivity and somewhere to decide on shared actions to drive growth. The common objective of eradicating energy poverty and achieving the 2030 objectives has never been more urgent. Knowing that economic development starts with access to modern energy. Underpinning vital food supplies, powers homes and hospitals, and enables people to work, study and travel.
