Currently serving as Secretary and previously served as President from 2002-2004 with active involvement in various neighborhood initiatives and surveys concerning possible closing of Austin State School campus, Interim Residential Development Regulations, and neighborhood input to the Brackenridge Tract Development plans. Organized West Austin Crime and Safety Seminary which featured APD Chief of Police Art Acevedo as the special guest speaker, and included presentations by APD representatives concerning crime prevention, as well as information from a variety of local security companies and products for protecting neighborhood homes. Also maintains WANG's website and neighborhood announcements regarding neighborhood planning meetings.
